Water Challenge

I wanted to do something fun this month!  

Who is up for a different challenge each week to help us on our health and wellness journey?  

I know life has been trying and that is why I wanted to do something that could help you feel in control of what is going on!  Only you can change the way you feel and I want us to do this together.  Starting today we are going to enter our first week's challenge: DRINKING WATER!  

Yep that's right, we're going to increase our water consumption for the next 7 days!  

I know what you may be thinking, how how much water do I need in a day?

Well, let me help you with that.  

You want to aim to drink ½ your body weight in water. 

So, if you weigh 150 lbs you would drink 75 ounces of water or if you weigh 68 kg you would drink 2.2 litres.  

Now remember to start small.

If you are only drinking one or two glasses a day (or even none 😬) don't try to jump all the way to your max as that would be too much of a shock to your system.  Try adding 1-2 glasses on top of what you have already done (or not done - it's okay, I don't judge). That way we are easing into this!!  Small changes in the beginning will accumulate to large ones in the end!!
