Greens Challenge

Are you ready for our LAST challenge?  

We are going to be diving into adding something GREEN to our foods this week!  Yes something green to ONE MEAL each day.  Now remember this does not include green M&M's or Lime Margaritas!  

Now this may be more challenging for a few of you that really struggle to get greens into your diet - but this is why we are doing it.

Here are some tips on how to do this:

1.  Buy your favourite greens this week (different types of lettuce, green beans, broccoli, green peppers, brussel sprouts, asparagus, green peas, avocado, etc.)

2. Keep it really simple. Just add something green to one meal a day.

3.  Look at what you usually make and see what you can do to add one green item. 

4.  For fun try a new green vegetable or green nutritious food you have never tried.  

I chose this challenge for the multitude of health benefits that green foods can add to our life and the fact that many of my clients have often lacked this in their diet.  Green foods can help fight disease, give us our necessary vitamins like vitamin K or vitamin A, can help give us our daily dose of fibre, help with weight loss and even help keep us hydrated!  

Let's do this together and help each other reach our goals.
